The museum Ett Hem is an atmospheric bourgeois home from the turn of the 20th century, set in a historic Turku environment. The museum was the home of Consul Alfred Jacobsson and his wife Hélène, and is located in a beautiful old wooden building on Piispankatu, near Turku Cathedral. The museum is furnished in period style, with furniture, art, and textiles collected by the Jacobsson couple. The interiors of Ett Hem offer a unique glimpse into a bygone world, where visitors can peacefully enjoy the ambiance and Finnish Golden Age art.
The museum is closed during the Midsummer holiday, June 19–23, 2026.
