Free Entry for Students in September

The museum Ett Hem was originally the private home of Consul Alfred and Hélène Jacobsson. The Jacobssons had a keen interest in art, and throughout her life, Hélène carefully furnished and decorated the house. In 1925, they donated their home to the Åbo Akademi University Foundation with the wish that it be preserved as a museum named Ett Hem. The museum’s art collection includes oil paintings, prints, watercolours, pastels, and sculptures by artists such as Helene Schjerfbeck, Albert Edelfelt, Akseli Gallen-Kallela, and Elin Danielson-Gambogi.

Throughout September we offer free entry to students to the museum Ett Hem

Please present a valid student card at the ticket desk.

Address: Piispankatu 14, Turku
Open: Wed–Sun 11 AM–4 PM

Free admission for students in September also applies to Åbo Akademi University Foundation’s other museums: the Sibelius Museum (Biskopsgatan 17, Turku) and the artist home Casa Haartman (Luostarinkatu 3, Naantali).
