Part of the museum Ett Hem´s photograph collection is now available in Finna. In particular, photographs from the Jacobsson family’s original home at Hämeenkatu 30 in Turku have been digitized and can now be explored by the public. These images offer a unique glimpse into the family’s everyday surroundings, interior decoration, and lifestyle during different periods of their lives.

The museum’s photograph collection consists of portraits, family photographs, and images from the family’s home in Turku as well as their summer villa on Ruissalo. The collection documents both the life of the Jacobsson family and the environments that later formed the foundation of the museum. Through these photographs, visitors gain a deeper understanding of the family’s history, their collecting activities, and the cultural environment that the museum conveys today.

Additional photographs are continuously being digitized and gradually published in Finna.

By making this material available through Finna, the museum aims to facilitate research and offer the public the opportunity to discover new aspects of Ett Hem’s history.
